How it works
We add the month’s fuel (miles ÷ mpg × price per gallon), your other fixed costs, the courier’s pay and the cost per delivery (packaging, fees), then divide by the number of deliveries.
Example
A car that gets 30 mpg, driving 1,800 miles for 400 deliveries, with gas at $3.20 and $350 in other costs: $192 in fuel and about $1.36 per delivery.
