For drivers: your real weekly profit
Enter the weekly rent, the km limit in your contract, how much you drive, fuel use and price, and what you earn in the apps. The calculator adds rent, extra-km charges, fuel and other costs and shows your profit per week and per day.
Example: $300 a week with a 1,000 km limit, driving 180 km a day for 6 days (1,080 km). The 80 extra km at $0.25 cost $20; fuel at 13 km per liter and $1.10 per liter is about $91. With $30 of other costs, the week costs about $441. Earning $220 a day ($1,320 a week) leaves about $879 per week.
Why is there a mileage limit?
It is a contract rule, not a law: every kilometer wears tires, brakes and oil and lowers the car's value. Before signing, check the limit, the extra-km fee, who pays maintenance and insurance, and the deductible after an accident.
For owners: what to charge
Choose "Car owner" and enter the car value, yearly depreciation, maintenance per km, insurance, taxes and monthly costs. You get the minimum rent with no loss, a suggested rent with your margin and a fair extra-km fee.
Frequently asked questions
Is renting a car for rideshare worth it?
It depends on how much you drive and earn per day. If the daily profit is low, compare with financing an efficient car of your own.
