CPC Calculator

By the CalcMundi team · Updated October 22, 2026 · Formulas checked against standard financial math

Enter what you spent and the clicks you got. Add sales to see what each sale cost.

Formula

CPC = amount spent ÷ clicks.

Example

$1,500 in ads that brought 1,200 clicks is a $1.25 CPC. If 30 of those clicks bought, the conversion rate is 2.5% and each sale cost $50 in ads.

How much can I pay per click?

Maximum CPC = profit per sale × conversion rate. If you make $60 per sale and convert 2.5% of clicks, you can pay up to $1.50 per click and break even.

Frequently asked questions

What changes the CPC?

Competition for the same keyword or audience, ad quality and the season. Black Friday and the holidays usually push prices up.

Is a low CPC always better?

No. A cheap click that never buys is expensive. Compare the cost per sale (CPA).

CPC vs. CPM?

With CPC you pay per click. With CPM you pay per 1,000 impressions, clicked or not.
